How your practice data is used

In short

We use privacy-minimized pseudonymous product-health events to improve the trainer. Detailed signed-in answer analytics begins only after you acknowledge the current notice.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Product-health measurement applies to signed-in and signed-out use and has no separate opt-out.

What we collect

• Your account: email address, optional display name, and account dates.
• Saved progress: practice results, diagnostic progress, and timing needed to sync your learning across devices.
• Product-health measurement: a pseudonymous browser alias and limited events such as page visits, practice starts, completions, and answer occurrences. This is collected for signed-in and signed-out use to help us understand whether the trainer works.
• Detailed answer analysis: for signed-in learners who acknowledge this notice, answer and question details, correctness, practice mode, and response time. We use this to improve questions and learning recommendations.
• Optional Community profile: if you join the leaderboard, your display name, weekly aggregate standings, and profile photo (if you added one) are public, including to logged-out visitors. If you do not participate, your name and photo remain private.

What product-health events exclude

These events do not contain answer text, question or fact IDs, correctness, names, email addresses, raw account IDs, IP addresses, user-agent strings, device fingerprints, referrers, passwords, or free-form responses.

Who can see it

Your account-linked data is available to you, the administrator operating the trainer, and the providers that host it. Other learners cannot see your answers, email, account ID, or practice history. They can only see the Community information you make public by joining the leaderboard.

Retention and choices

Product-health events are deleted after about six months. Detailed answer records are deleted or irreversibly aggregated after no more than 24 months. Account data stays while your account is open. Community participation is optional: you can leave the leaderboard or remove your avatar from Account at any time.

You can permanently delete your account from Account; this removes your login, profile, Community information, saved progress, and account-linked answer data.
